Paul's career in financial services begans in 1981. He worked in equity sales at James Capel in the mid 1980s before joining Goldman Sachs in 1988 to set up and run its UK equities business. In 1995 Paul joined Morgan Stanley as Head of UK equities and represented the bank at the LIBA. He was also a member of the LSE advisory committee that developed SETS.
In 1998 Paul moved to Rabobank to set up the equities business within their new Investment Banking division. In 1999 Paul left the City to found and run Digitalbrain plc, an internet business. Paul has extensive experience of all aspects of equities sales, trading and origination, and in particular in building and growing businesses. Paul is the TXG company secretary and also the Managing Partner of Hammond Partners.
